FORMS AND IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS ARE

To become Miss America or Miss America's Outstanding
Teen, a contestant must first win a local competition
and then compete to represent her state, a press which
showcases personal commitment, hard work, and talent.
Competing in the Miss America Scholarship Program
requires commitment, perseverance, talent and ambition.
Your first step to becoming Miss Jeffersontown 2011
or Miss Jeffersontown's Outstanding Teen 2011,
Miss Louisville 2011 or Miss Louisville's Outstanding
Teen 2011, you must meet the following criteria:
FOR MISS COMPETITION:
You must be at least 17 years of age and a senior in
high school and no older than 24 on December 31, 2010.

You are a citizen of the United States.
There are three ways in which someone can be eligible to
compete in Miss Jeffersontown/Louisville. You could be a
resident of Kentucky for at least six months (with proof
of official document establishing residency, ie driver's
license). You could be a student at a college or
university in Kentucky, having completed at least one
semester as a full time student (at least 12 credit
hours) and presently be enrolled and attending classes
on a full-time basis at an accredited college or
university (must submit proof).

You could also be a full-time employee
working in Kentucky (at least 40 hours per week in
Kentucky) for at least six months immediately prior to
this competition and still employed at the present time
(must show proof).

You must have been born female.

You are not now nor have you ever been
married.

You are not now pregnant nor have you
ever been pregnant. You are not the adoptive parent of
any child.

You are of good moral character and have
not been involved at any time in any act of moral
turpitude.

Other than minor or petty offenses, you
have never been convicted of any criminal offense and
there are no criminal charges presently pending against
you.

FOR OUTSTANDING TEEN COMPETITION, YOU
MUST
-
Be a young lady between the ages of 13
and 17.

Be a United States citizen.

Meet residency requirements for
competing in a certain town or state.

Meet character criteria as set forth by
the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization
-
Be in reasonably good health to meet the
job requirements.
-
Be able to meet the time commitment and
responsibilities as set forth by the local program in
which you compete.
-
Must not be eligible to compete in the
Miss America Competition.

Scholarship Pageant will be held on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER
11, 2010!
ENTRY DEADLINE FOR MISS and TEEN CONTESTANTS IS AUGUST
29, 2010!
The Early Bird Special for TEENS of $65 good till August
19th and $75 thru August 29th. MISS contestants are
required to raise $100 for The Children’s Miracle
Network (CMN) which is national platform for the Miss
America Scholarship Organization. See entry documents
